 Working With More Than One Variable

Three different measures are evaluated in the first row of the table--netime, emtime, and wwwtime.  You could submit three SDA forms to calculate the average reported hours of weekly Internet use, electronic mail use, and web browsing, respectively.  Or, you could submit one form specifying all three measures--multiple variables.

The following graphic shows the appropriate SDA form that provides the average hours for all respondents for Internet use (4.2 hours), electronic mail use (2.0 hours), and web browsing (2.3 hours).

Similarly, we can calculate the percentage of respondents for each of these three variables by submitting the following form (note that the variable wwwtime is "off the screen":
